Cloud Pre-Sales Business Developer – Global Professional Services Firm

About the Role
We are seeking a highly technical Cloud Pre-Sales Business Developer to join our global professional services team. In this role, you will combine deep technical knowledge with business development skills, working closely with internal teams and clients to shape cloud solutions that drive growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with client and internal stakeholders to design cloud strategies and solutions.
  • Support business development activities including RFP responses, SOW creation, and WBS planning.
  • Track KPIs and contribute to GTM (Go-to-Market) strategies.
  • Research and assess emerging cloud technologies, ensuring our solutions remain market-leading.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners.
  • Provide technical expertise across cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and scalability.
  • Contribute to presentations, proposals, and client workshops.
  • Travel occasionally to client sites as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong background in infrastructure and cloud technologies.
  • Hands-on experience across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Oracle Cloud, and private cloud.
  • Knowledge of security, networking, VMs, storage, containers, analytics, scaling, and load balancing.
  • Proficiency in scripting/automation (e.g., Python).
  • Proven ability to solve complex technical challenges in pre-sales or client-facing settings.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to influence both technical and business audiences.
