A prominent healthcare firm is looking for an InterSystems engineer/administrator. You will work on general OS and specific IS concerns.
You should be experienced with Windows and Linux operating systems. You should also have the background in Cache and Ensemble. Similar healthcare IS experience may be acceptable. You should also be fluent with Active Directory and RedHat. Knowledge of different parts of the engineering process is required, from architecture and design to testing and support. You need to have clinical familiarity and be experienced working with healthcare and business professionals. Excellent communications and written skills are also important, as well as a BS.
Your focus will be on the company’s infrastructure. Our InterSystems platform resides in a heterogeneous OS environment, so being multifaceted is an important part of this role. You will work with senior executives, PMs, vendors and staff. You’ll provide application management and monitoring, manage trouble tickets, and handle security and optimization of the system. Understanding of SLAs is important, as you’ll provide compliance. As you’ll work with developers and helpdesk, you should be well aware of the relevant cycles.
